Craig B. Hammond has been a family law attorney since 1979. Although family law has been Ms. Hammond’s concentration since she began her practice, Ms. Hammond has also handled probate, adoptions, and other similar matters. Ms. Hammond’s primary focus with all of her clients is to provide full disclosure regarding all of the client’s matters and also provide a cost-effective means of obtaining the client’s goals. In fact, Craig B. Hammond is a certified mediator and where appropriate encourages her clients to mediate their issues in order to avoid a more costly adversarial process.
Craig B. Hammond attended Newbury College in South Carolina where she studied Sociology and graduated cum laude. Ms. Hammond went on to the University of Chicago where she studied Juris Prudence and Sociology. Finally, Ms. Hammond attended Chicago Kent School of Law and graduated cum laude in 1979. Since her graduation, Ms. Hammond has spent a good deal of her time participating in committees and organizations devoted to family law. Craig B. Hammond is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois, the 7th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
